QUESTIONS ABOUT THE H1N1 VIRUS (SWINE FLU)? CALL THE ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AT 410-222-7343
Anne Arundel County Public Schools, the Anne Arundel County Department of Health, and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene continue to communicate regularly about the H1N1 influenza virus (swine flu) and the potential for a significant increase in the number of cases now that students are back in school. All three agencies are committed to continued collaboration and to providing parents and the community at large with regular updates on the situation.
Precautions to avoid the flu include washing hands frequently, covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, and staying home from work or school if you are sick.
