Dear Parents and Visitors:   I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the privilege of serving your child as Woodside Principal. It is a privilege to work with our dedicated faculty and staff to ensure a safe and nurturing school environment where students learn and grow through an academically rigorous curriculum.   All of our students arrive at school with a unique set of experiences. Each day we strive to build on these experiences by offering an exciting and challenging academic program that combines both local and state curriculum as well as extracurricular activities. Although test criteria and data provide indicators of achievement, they are not the only measure of your child’s success. As a staff we vow to work tirelessly to focus on each individual child. While academic success and instruction are emphasized we also want to develop our students into well rounded individuals with a strong sense of character and commitment to learning. The success of our school is attributed to the excellent partnership among students, staff, parents and community.   We encourage all parents to be active participants in their child’s education. We are fortunate to have a dedicated and hard working PTA. Their contributions have afforded our students many opportunities beyond the regular classroom. They have also committed themselves to providing additional resources to enhance our school building and extra-curricular activities. Our students greatly benefit from their continued involvement and support.
