Mrs. Williams has served as Severn Elementary School Principal since 2000.   A Message from The Principal On behalf of the faculty and staff at Severn Elementary School, we would like to thank you for entrusting your child(ren) to our care. We will do our best to help you in assisting your child to meet academic success.   Achievement for all students will continue to be the task and “excellence” our ultimate goal.  As stated in President Bush’s education plan, as educators, “We are to ensure that no child be left behind.”   As we forge toward a new school year, we will focus on achievement and academic growth by: Creating meaningful student centered academic task Providing a save and secure environment conducive for learning Continuing with performance instruction Fostering collaboration between home and school Designing, implementing, and instructing students on the instructional demands of the future   As Severn Elementary continues to forge toward school excellence, we strongly believe that: “Eagles fly higher than all the rest!” To make sure our Eagles continue to soar, we (parents, teachers, and staff) must create a successful blueprint for success.
