Ruth Parker Eason is a public, separate day school located in Millersville, Maryland in Anne Arundel County. Our school provides a special education program for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
Just as our students vary, our educational program is multifaceted. Students' Individualized Education Programs focus on the development of functional life skills and functional academics. Our teachers modify the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum for Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Adapted art, music, physical education, and media are provided for all students. Communication and behavior management are also integral components of the instructional program. In addition, vocational preparation occurs within our building and at work enclaves for our older students.
