Park Elementary Site Description
Park Elementary is part of the Anne Arundel County public school system and is located in Brooklyn Park, Maryland. Brooklyn Park is considered an urban area and has a population of about 11,000 persons. Park Elementary is a Title 1 school and currently has a total enrollment of 418 students, ranging from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. The student to teacher ratio is 15:1 and classes are grouped in a heterogeneous manner. Open-Court Reading program is used for language arts instruction, while Scott Foresman mathematics is used for mathematics instruction.
