Home of the Mustangs

Welcome to the Marley Elementary School's website.  In April 2005, our new building opened after 9 years of planning which made this the most exciting year in our 51 year history.  In addition to being beautiful, our school has state of the art structures and materials to facilitate student learning.  With its modern security features, it is the safest school in the county.

Marley Elementary School is home to about 520 students.  This pre-kindergarten through grade five school is located at 715 Cooper Road in Glen Burnie, Maryland.  Whether a student begins school in August or transfers to us in mid-year, all are welcomed and nurtured within our diverse population.  The school staff is committed to students developing to their highest potential.

During the upcoming year, the School Improvement Plan  will guide our education efforts.  Focusing on Academic Achievement, Safe and Orderly Environment, and Community Collaboration, Marley's plan supports the Goals of Anne Arundel County Public Schools.  We are fortunate to have both the Title I and Talent Development programs at Marley Elementary to strengthen student achievement.  We strive to challenge each student to reach his or her potential during each step of the learning process.

We encourage students and parents to become active in our school programs and partners in increasing student achievement.  Please call the school office at any time with questions or concerns.  Your input and involvement are very important to us.
