Thank you to those chaperones who made our fieldtrip to Jug Bay Wetland a success!
Language Arts : We have started our Country Life Unit in Reading. We will examine the advantages and disadvantages to country living, the large agricultural regions in the country, technology in country work, and the difficult challenges to keep farms operating.
Math: We will continue our studies of decimals, line plots, and ordered pairs on a coordinate grid. We will return to multiplication and division where we will take things to the next level and be multiplying with 2 and 3 digit numbers.
Science/Social Studies : In Science, we have started our next unit of Earth/Space Science. We will identify various natural features found on Earth. In Social Studies, our final unit is studying different cultures and our own ancestry.
Last chance for guest readers! If you are interested in being a guest reader in your child’s class, please contact their teacher to schedule a day. We would like to invite guest readers on Wednesday mornings, but can be flexible with your schedule.
