Linthicum Elementary School

Principal's Message

"You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn curiosity, he will continue the learning process for as long as he lives."

                                                                                                     Clay P. Bedford

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I would like to introduce myself to you as your new principal of Linthicum Elementary School.  As some of you may know, I was fortunate enough to have been a second grade teacher and the Talent Development teacher here at Linthicum a number of years ago.

Although my positions in the past did not allow me to stay for an extended period of time, I quickly learned what a dedicated, caring, and hard-working team of professionals are within this schoolhouse.  I am excited and proud to once again become a member of the Linthicum Elementary School family.

One of the many things I learned, during my teaching experience at Linthicum, was the importance of the wonderful dedication, commitment, and support the students and I received from the parents.  Your continued involvement and commitment is vital and the most recent MSA test scores validate the importance of your support.

I believe very much in building a Professional Learning Community and am eager to work with you through this process.  Through our collaborative efforts, we can continue to provide the needed support to the teachers and students that will help continue to move student achievement forward.

I look forward to meeting you and hope that you will take the time to stop by and introduce yourselves to me.

Sincerely,

Fran Nussle
