Policies and Procedures
When can I visit the media center?
The library media center is open every school day from 7:30 am to 2:45 pm.
Students are welcome to visit the media center any time during the school day with a pass from their teacher. However, if the media center is too busy, they may be asked to return at a later time.
To visit the media center before school, students must get a pass from Mrs. Haas or Mrs. Love the day before.
Students will also visit the media center once a month in their language arts classes.
On Thursdays, the media center is open to students until 3:50.
What can I check out at the media center?
Students are allowed to check out books, magazines, and audiobooks. They may check out up to 3 items, and items are due back in 3 weeks. While we do not charge late fees, students are expected to return items on time and in good condition. If students lose library materials or allow them to become damaged, they must pay for these items before they will be allowed to check out anything else. Students who owe fines on lost or damaged library materials will have their report cards held until their fines have been paid.
