- Dr. Kendall Miller Scholarship

Two $4000 scholarships will be awarded to students in Anne Arundel County to use for college tuition. Applicants must be pursuing careers in some technical field. Deadline: April 24, 2009
- Federal Water Quality Association
$1000 to $2000 scholarships available to students who plan to pursue environmental careers.
Applicants will be judged based upon grades, test scores, activities and essay. Deadline: April 20, 2009
- Joseph Fox, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must pursue a degree in reading or a reading-related field, as well as major in Education and plan to teach as a career. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2. Scholarship valued at $1000. Deadline: April 15, 2009
- Anne Arundel County Council of PTAs
$1000 scholarship to a student interested in a career in education and a $1000 scholarship to a student planning a career in any subject. Minimum GPA of 2.5. Student must be attending a 2 year, 4 year or trade/technical school. Deadline: April 10, 2009
- TAAAC
Teachers Association of Anne Arundel County will award six $500.00 scholarsips. One of the scholarships (Robin Coleman Scholarship) requires a major in science or technology. A $300.00 book stipend will also be awarded. Deadline: April 1, 2009
- Northrop Grumman
The Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholars program awards a $10,000 scholarship to one student in Anne Arundel County. Applicants should be pursuing a degree in engineering in college. Students need a minimum GPA of 3.5 with a SAT score of 1700. Deadline: March 31, 2009
- Society of Women Engineers-Baltimore/Washington Chapter
Scholarship program open to females graduating seniors who plan to pursue a career in engineering. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Deadline: March 1, 2009
- CIA

- Maryland Media (Univ. of Maryland)
Two scholarships will be given to outstanding high school journalists. The scholarships will be for in-state tuition to the University of Maryland at College Park. Deadline: December 1, 2008

AFCEA is offering a $10,000 scholarship for seniors who plan to enter a science or engineering field of study supportive of national defense.

170 renewable $6000 scholarships will be awarded by the National Commission.

- Thiel College
On January 31, 2010 Thiel College in PA will hold its annual Presidential Scholarship competition for high school seniors.

UMBC announces its Meyerhoff Scholarship Program open to all high achieving seniors who have an interest in pursuing studies in science or engineering and eventually obtain a Doctorial degree. - Delegate and Senatorial Scholarships
Delegate scholarships are available to graduating seniors from their respective Delegate in the district that the student resides in. If you do not know your district call the Board of Elections at 410-269-2840 to find out your district and the Delegate that represents that district. Once you find out contact your delegate to inquire about applying for a Delegate scholarship. Senatorial Scholarships can be applied for by filing your FAFSA after January 1. You must check off on the FAFSA that you would like to be considered for a Senatorial scholarship. An application will then be sent to you. Deadline: March, 2009
- Janice M. Scott Memorial Schoarship
Must be a graduating senior with a 2.5 GPA or higher. Applicants must be attending a four year college or university. Should be able to demonstrate leadership activities through community service or extracurricular activities. Deadline: March 31, 2009
- Blacks in Government Scholarship
Applicants must live within 200 miles of Washington, DC and have a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation from either an employer or an official of their current school, community organization, or church. Deadline: March 31, 2009

- Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
Scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $12,000 will be awarded to children of active duty or reserve Marines. Must have a 2.0 GPA and maximum adjusted income of $80,000 or less. Deadline: March 1, 2009
- Army Emergency Relief Scholarship
