Tri-M Music Honor Society

The Tri-M Music Honor Society is the international music honor society for high school students. It is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements, reward them for their accomplishments and service activities, and to inspire other students to excel at music and leadership.

Tri-M provides service to the music department at Glen Burnie High school and help at various concerts and musical events. They also provide mock adjudication to students preparing for All-County Band auditions.

GBHS' Tri-M chapter (#104) is the second-oldest in the county, and one of the oldest in the nation (new chapters are given numbers of over five thousand!). This year, they will celebrate their 55th anniversary in the form of a multi-school celebration and induction ceremony on December 11th at 7pm.

Membership in Tri-M is open to all programs in the music department. Tri-M meets every other Friday in Mr. Pinder's room.
