Speech Team

Advisor - Mr. Fromm

GBHS Speech Team meets bi-weekly in M211 at the convenience of its members and coach, Mr. Fromm. The members of the team compete against other schools in the Baltimore Catholic Forensic League and various other speech contests. Members learn to interpret literature with expression to present solo and duet dramatic readings and to deliver various types of speeches. A very popular part of the Team involves the PA Announcers who audition and are selected to announce the daily news that starts the Glen Burnie day. Members also have the opportunity to earn points for membership in the National Forensic League. Glen Burnie High School is one of the only schools in the county to have an NFL chapter.
