Social Studies Department

The Social Studies Department at Glen Burnie High School provides students with a wide range of challenging and exciting courses covering the ancient and contemporary world. In addition to the Maryland required courses in US Government, US History, and World History, we offer many exciting elective courses that will allow the student to develop informed opinions on the social questions facing them as citizens.
