Welcome to the home of the Cardinals, Corkran Middle School!
I am pleased to serve as principal of this wonderful school community. The
students, faculty and staff are working together in a cooperative effort
to create a family spirit in our school that is dedicated to help every
student achieve academic success.
To focus our work, our school improvement team has
identified three goals. We are striving to increase our academic
achievement through good attendance, on-time arrival at school and
most importantly, active engagement
in a quality academic instructional program. We are
examining and improving our school climate and continue to set high
standards for behavior based on our belief that students and staff will
make appropriate choices every day. Our third goal is to increase our
home-school and community connections increasing and improving communication to our
students’ families and inviting parents/guardians to actively work with
us and establishing business partnerships.
To guide our work with students and staff we have
