Introduction to Health Careers

This course is designed to introduce 10th or 11th grade students to careers available in a variety of health care areas. They will be introduced to medical terminology, basic health care procedures, medical cleanliness and safety, and basic performance skills for various health areas. Students will take weekly field trips to nearby health care facilities to speak to people employed in these health fields and see them in action.
