Dental Assisting

This program gives the student an opportunity to learn to function as a dental assistant. Skills will be taught in the areas of receptionist, chair side assistant, business office manager, and dental laboratory assistant. Clinical experiences and observations take place in a dental clinic and are supervised by a doctor of dentistry. A senior year clinical experience will be available in a dental office.
