Nursing Assistants provide hands-on care to patients in a variety of ways. They work with the healthcare team to provide personal care, measure and record vital signs, assist with nutrition and elimination needs and other care needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Nursing Assistants may work in a variety of health-care settings including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation facilities, and hospitals.
