An opportunity to learn basic drafting, orthographic projection, sketching drawings, ANSI standard lettering, blueprint reading, CAD, geometric construction, sectioning, auxiliary views, detail and assembly drawings, architectural layouts of floor plans and elevation drawings is provided in this course. A senior year Cooperative Work Experience Program is available, which can lead to an Apprenticeship program. Career opportunities include drafter, enginneering technician, mechanical engineer, industrial designer, teacher, architect, and construction superintendent.
