Baking and Pastry

 

An opportunity to learn ingredients recognition, cost conversion, bake shop production, use of equipment, basic decorations, airbrush applications and students may receive National Sanitation Certification. Students also learn industry employability skills. A senior year Cooperative Work Experience Program is available, which can lead to an Apprenticeship program. Career opportunities include cake decorator, baker, caterer, consultant, bakery manager, and pastry chef.
