An opportunity to learn how to inspect, repair, and adjust automobiles is provided in this two to three-year course. A senior year Cooperative Work Experience Program is available, which can lead to an Apprenticeship Program. Positions as specialist in steering and alignment, engine tune up and performance, engine repair, troubleshooting air conditioning, and electrical and electronic systems are found in auto repair centers. This program is ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certified by the National Automotive Education Foundation. Students enrolled in Auto Technology I must enroll in Pre-Engineering. |
