How? After you read any book – classroom requirement or personal selection – choose any one of the following to broadcast your review.

1. Written review. No more than one typed page, double spaced and 14-16 size font. These will be displayed in the media center.

2. Written review posted in the MRC folder on Media and LA desktops.

3. Broadcast your review any morning Monday through Thursday during AM announcements. Review must be no longer than one half paged. You may have someone else read it or read it yourself – practice first!

4. Be on live TV. Broadcast your review on a BPMS Friday Live morning announcements. You may have someone else read it or read it yourself – practice first!

5. Prepare a PowerPoint review to be presented during BPMS Friday Live. Four to six slides. (This can also be posted in the MRC folder on Media and LA desktops.)

6. Write a rap song, record it sing it during AM announcements

7. Create a poster (18x24; 12x18) using poster paper. To be displayed in the media center or media classroom.

8. Create a poster on the computer. To be displayed in the media center or media classroom. (This can also be posted in the MRC folder on Media and LA desktop.)

9. Create a web page using Microsoft FrontPage. Save it to the MRC folder on Media and LA desktops.)

All of the above should include the following in some way – words or pictures!

· Introduction should begin with a hook. (see Close… below)

· Include the title and author.

· Summary – but don’t give away the ending.

· Opinion – does not always have to be positive but it should be respectful.

· Some additional suggestions:

o Does this book have a particular audience? If so, mention it.

o Is it a good example of a particular genre?

· Close it with a question, a challenge, a quote, or an emphatic statement.
