The primary goal of education is to help students prepare for success
in an ever-changing world. The
Center of Applied Technology North and the
Center of Applied Technology South are committed to providing
programs that adapt to new technology and students' employability needs.
High school students can attend one of the Centers as part of their
regular daily schedule and earn credits required for their high school
graduation. The Centers offer an extension to the courses at the
comprehensive high schools with an in-depth study of 32 technical areas.
They provide an environment in which students apply theory and knowledge
toward skills proficiency and practice safe work habits and professional
ethics.
