Achieving health literacy for all students is dependent upon a comprehensive health education program.  Anne Arundel County Public Schools provide students with curriculum designed from the Maryland K-12 Health Education Learning Outcomes.  The outcomes are integrated throughout various disciplines.  There is an emphasis on knowledge, skills, and personal vulnerability. 

All educators are responsible for increasing the awareness and importance of health education for our students in Anne Arundel County.   It is our goal for the students of Anne Arundel County Public Schools to become healthy life-long learners.
