Yearbook I
Students participate in a production company to
conceptualize, create, and publish a school-wide
yearbook. They analyze exemplary professional and
student publications and apply national criteria for
evaluation yearbooks.
Yearbook II
Students study and apply the basics of layout
including, mockups, typography, and efficiency in
being press ready. Students learn to manipulate white
space, typography, and frames to create innovative
layouts using advanced techniques of publishing
software during electronic paste up. Students
experiment with computer-enhanced graphics, digital
photography, and electronic publishing.
