Conducted
on a college level,
AP English Language and
Composition provides an in depth study of rhetoric
and compositon with attention to particular forms,
including argumentative, narrative, expository,
analytical, and reflective. Reading exerpts and essays
that exemplify effective writing in a variety of
voices, genres, and points of view, students analyze
the cohesion of patterns of rhetorical and stylistic
devices, as well as cultivate their own voices in the
writing through an examination of excellent models.
