I'm not sure exactly
what we need...
Here are some steps to
take to help define your project:
SEEKING TUITION FUNDING
The Development Office cannot assist
individuals seeking sources of tuition.
Your first step is to talk to your
school guidance counselor. |
-
Get a group
together – having others to share the burden
and their ideas is a great way to begin to
define your project. Remember to focus on
projects to increase academic achievement,
community collaboration and improve a
safe school environment. Projects might
include after school homework clubs, social
skill programs.
- Remember what a
project is NOT – funding a staff member is
not a project. Getting computers is not a
project. However, these things can be part
of a larger project which would increase
your chances of a favorable outcome.
- Get School
Administration Approval – make sure the
principal is aware of you project ideas.
See which projects most closely fit with the
school goals and climate.
- If possible… Partner!
– are there businesses or community members
who would be able to provide some resources
for your project? Don’t overlook faith-based
and small community groups to provide input
and resources.
- Contact the
Development Office to help
putting your project into proposal format
and searching for funders.
