Awesome Library - K-12 Education Directory	Teacher	Great resource site for teachers to find url's, keypals, etc.
Baltimore County Public Schools Library Online	Teacher	Contains many great learning resources, including research modules that are considered to be best practices with regards to the integration of technology in the curriculum.
B.J. Pinchbeck's Homework Helper	K-12	Part of the Discovery School's Student Channel. "If you can't find it here, then you just can't find it."
Educational Web Adventures	4-9	Great site for interactive learning adventures. Requires an up-to-date browser with the Shockwave plug-in.
High School Hub	9-12	Recommended as a "homework helper" for high school students. Applies to most content areas and contains links to excellent references.
Homework Central	3-12	Excellent search engine for students broken into kids and teens.
KidsClick! Web Search	K-12	This is appropriate for elementary grades and Middle/High School beginners to the web.
Merriam Webster Online	3-12	Word of the Day. Online dictionary and thesaraus.
Quia!	4-12	Applies to all content areas. Games and quizzes can be created by the teacher and made available to students. Many content area activities have already been created and are accessable for students.
Scholastic	K-8 Teacher	Scholastic lends support to teachers by providing both professional and classroom resources.It is approved for grades K-8, all content areas.
StudyWeb	3-12	Excellent resource for students as a search engine. Super links with a variety of sources.
The Center on Learning, Assessment, and School Structure	Teacher	The Design Co-op is a multi-year project directed by Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe devoted to the development and peer review of curricular units within and across member school districts. The Co-op is composed of individual districts and groups of districts (through educational service agencies or district consortia).
