A WebQuest for United States Government Students

Note: 
This WebQuest is a continuation of the students' service learning project that focused on poverty and assisted their local food bank.  Teachers may adapt it to any business or organization.

 Outcome:  
After completing this activity, students should have an understanding of economic data that reflect changes in the economy.  Moreover, students should be able to discuss and conceptualize how governmental actions can impact the economy and dependent agencies.

Maryland Core Learning Goals: Social Studies Core Learning Goal 4.

4.1.2 - The student will utilize the principles of economic costs, benefits, and opportunity cost to analyze the effectiveness of governmental policy in achieving socio-economic goals.

4.1.4 - The student will evaluate the effectiveness of current monetary and fiscal policy on promoting full employment, price stability and economic growth.
