 What is the Maryland Hall program?

Students are nominated by their schools to receive a tuition waiver to take classes in visual and performing arts at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis. Examples of past classes include: 

  • Ceramics, pottery, sculpture
  • Drawing, portraiture
  • Painting, watercolor
  • Cartooning, airbrush, collage
  • Marionettes
  • Photography
  • Weaving, jewelry
  • Printmaking
  • Sign language
  • Ballet, jazz, tap, ballroom dancing
  • Yoga
  • Guitar, brass, woodwind
  • Drama, theater, cabaret
