What is the procedure for identifying gifted and talented students? 

Each school implements a procedure consistent with Anne Arundel County Public Schools guidelines for screening students who benefit from gifted and talented services.  Participation in Gifted/Talented/Advanced Programs is based on multiple pathways, including: 
  • student performance 
  • teacher observations and recommendations 
  • parent nominations 
  • self nominations 
  • test scores
