Technology
In Maryland Schools
TIMS is a grant from
the state of Maryland. It provides voice, video and data transmissions
to all instructional areas in a school building. This connects the schools
to the LAN, WAN and the Internet. TIMS also provides schools with software,
hardware and staff development. By the end of the year, Anne Arundel County
will have over 100 schools wired thanks to the TIMS initiative.
