Anne Arundel Public Schools’ The Technology Scope and Sequence K-8 reflects the National Technology Standards and the Maryland Technology Standards. Concept Standards include: Basic Operations and Concepts; Social Ethical and Human Issues; Technology Productivity Tools; Technology Communication Tools; Technology Research Tools; and Technology Problem-Solving and Decision- Making Tools.

Many concept standards are introduced in Kindergarten, reinforced in later grades so that by the end of eighth grade students are independent users of technology.
