Library Media Services
Our department maintains and updates the
Integrated Library System (ILS). Seven
centrally based servers support Library Media Services’ circulation,
cataloging, serials, booking, acquisitions, and OPAC functions.
Individual Library Media Centers access these servers through the
AACPS wide area network.

All user training and software support is the
responsibility of Library Systems Management.
Any failure of checkout scanners should be reported to our
department. They are under
warranty and must be “routed” through our TLC representative. Any other hardware failures should be reported to the Help
Desk (410-222-5135). The school network analysts are responsible for
updating, installing, reinstalling, and creating shortcuts on the desktop
or/and Start menu of the Circulation and OPAC stations.
