This department assists Library Media Specialists in obtaining library materials, including books, audio-visual items, periodicals, equipment, and supplies.)
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the database of recommended materials for library media specialists.
- Providing library media specialists with instruction and training for ordering materials.
- Processing orders for materials from library media specialists. This includes entering Requisition/Release Forms and Disbursement Authorization Forms into the county financial database.
- Receiving materials ordered by schools and processing invoices for payment to vendors.
