Print Station Printing

Nothing comes out of the Printer

• Check to see if the printer is turned on
• Check to see if the PC attached to the printer is turned on
• Make sure that the print station has an active network connection.

To see if your printer is Offline:

• Click on START,
• Then SETTINGS,
• Then PRINTERS,
• Then Right click on the printer that you are trying to print to, and uncheck WORK OFFLINE.

Checking Print jobs from the Queue: (ICLAS, Win 3.1)

• Log on as a teacher
• Select Other Teacher Options (type O)
• Select Work with Printer Console
• Highlight Print Queue Information and press enter
• Know the correct print queue and highlight it and press Enter
• Highlight Print jobs and press Enter

To Delete print Job:

• Highlight the correct job and press Delete
• Press ESC until asked to exit Printer Console and answer yes

Garble printing out of Printer

• Turn Printer off
• Delete all print jobs in Queue
• Turn Printer back on and try again
• Tips: If you are printing confidential information, stay and wait for your job to print. If it does not come out check the print queue.
