MAY IS PHYSICAL FITNESS AND SPORTS MONTH
The month of May is nationally known as Physical Fitness and Sports Month (as declared by President Reagan in 1983). The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County recognizes the month of May as National Physical Fitness and Sports Month (read the resolution at www.aacps.org/aacps/boe/HR/fitness.pdf ). All AACPS employees and residents of Anne Arundel County are encouraged to participate in healthy activities, especially those scheduled during the month of May in recognition of its special designation. read more |

Health/Wellness notes:
The
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
