Inspire students, through a rigorous arts-infused curriculum, to believe in themselves and reach beyond their expectations;Encourage students to take an active part in their learning and to develop life-long learning goals and appreciation for the performing and visual arts; and, Create connections with the wider world through technology and the arts.
OUR VISION
At Wiley H. Bates Middle School, we will strive to
provide a safe learning environment in which high achievement is the norm; guide student success; enhance learning in an art-enriched curriculum; embrace students, families and communities from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds; partner with businesses and corporations; provide students with the skills to create a self-vision; and provide experiences and opportunities to broaden horizons.
