Early Childhood Intervention Classroom

ECI is a preschool program for 3-6year-olds with delays in the following Domains: Speech/Language, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Social/Emotional Development, and Cognition.  Our goal is to advance every child’s development, in each area to the maximum level of his/her capabilities. Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) are written for each child with long-range goals and short-term objectives.  The IEP reflects specific needs for each child.  Specific skill-development is addressed in the following ways: large group instruction, small group instruction, and individually.  The Open Court Pre-K curriculum is used to prepare the students for kindergarten.
