Partnerships

To fulfill its mission and vision, we at Tyler Heights realize that it will take the efforts of the whole community to meet its goals of excellence. Therefore, we seek and maintain strong community partnerships. Currently we have established partnerships with Save Our Schools, Annapolis Public Housing, Annapolis City police, Office Depot, Chick-Fil-A, Anne Arundel Community College, Southwest Airline, Marine Corps Toys for Tots and Community Partnership school Crofton Woods Elementary.

Chick-fil-A

Is an sponsor for an educational program on character development for elementary age school children called "Core Essentials". They were also a sponsor in our "Bay Ridge Relay" event.

Save Our School

Is an national non-profit organization dedicated to giving our students the tools they need to succeed. Many computers have been donated to the school over the past three years. They also provide individual subscriptions to "National Geographic Explorer" Magazine to each student in 3rd - 5th grade and they also provide funds for our gold dollar homework incentive program. SOS supports us by providing funds for learning field trips (Annapolis Symphony, Exchange City, Capitol Children's Museum, Baltimore Science Center).

Office Depot

The Office Depot rebate program made it possible for Tyler Heights to have additional funds for supplies for students and teachers. This generous donation has had a major impact this current school year.

Community Police Partnership

      Officer Bouie

Officer Bouie supports our students and families in the school and in the community.

Southwest Airline

Southwest airlines partnered with Tyler Heights to support the "Bay Ridge Relay" event. Southwest provides 2 free tickets for a prize for participants in this wholesome family / community event.

Navy - Partners in Education

In January 2005 Tyler Heights Elementary School became Partners in Education with the Navy.
