The Sunset Parent/Teacher Association, Inc., (PTA) is an organization of involved parents and faculty members. Every school's PTA is unique. Each PTA has it's own set of Bylaws. According to our bylaws, the voting members are those parents and teachers who have paid their annual dues and participate in the activities of the organization. Through participation and education we can function as a true asset to our learning community.
Parent-Teacher organizations from all areas have a voice. During these times of financial reductions at all levels of government, the necessity for active participation in all areas of education becomes more acute.
General membership meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. If you have specific topic of interest, please contact a member of the Executive Board of the PTA. Dates and times for all PTA meetings are included in the Sunset Newsletter, which is sent home the first of each month.
The successful working of the PTA is dependent upon the active involvement and participation of all involved parents. Each parent has a place in the overall role of our PTA. Please join us!

at 6:30 P.M.
