Ruth Parker Eason is a public, separate day school located in Millersville, Maryland in Anne Arundel County.  Our school provides a special education program for students with moderate to severe disabilities.

Just as our students vary, our educational program is multifaceted.  Students' Individualized  Education Plans focus on the development of functional life skills and/or functional academics.  These skills will promote independence in the areas of personal management, community skills, recreation/leisure, and career vocation.  Communication and behavior management are integral components to all instructional areas.

Ruth Eason School incorporates special area instruction into each student's program as well.  Adapted art, music, physical education, media, and technical education are provided for all students.  In addition, vocational preparation occurs within our building and at work enclaves for our older students.
