Dr. Maxwell has challenged all Anne Arundel County Public Schools to: -accelerate achievement for every student, eliminating the achievement disparities among all groups of students; - create a safe learning environment that promotes accelerated achievement; - establish community partnerships to promote student achievement and ensure safe and orderly environments in all schools. Rolling Knolls is working hard to meet these goals in the following ways: - incorporating Open Court Reading and Saxon Math (Annapolis Challenge Grant); - providing students with science tools for experiments and investigations; - utilizing our computer lab of 32 state-of-the-art computers for instruction; - using our 18-computer mini-lab in our media center for research and instruction; - providing students with a professional and caring staff for high quality instruction; - having a strong PTA and volunteer program; - engaging our communities in family activities throughout the year. |
