OHES CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The responsibilities of the OHES CAC are to:

·        offer a forum for public discussions of educational concerns

·        provide research and advice to the OHES administration

·        study issues related to educational needs and services

·        encourage community participation in the schools

·        inform parents and community members of school activities

 Every school in the county is required to have a local CAC, with one member elected to serve as the school's countywide representative and convey the needs of their school.

·        Educating Parents on the Goals And Activities Of The School Improvement Team (SIT)

The meetings are open to everyone, and everyone's suggestions are valued. All parents are encouraged to participate!
