Ms Kirk's Art Room
In the art room lessons relate across the curriculum. Projects connect to the classroom social studies unit and Open Court Reading Program. Lessons also follow Anne Arundel County Pacing Guide. Students are taught the elements of art; line, shape, color, form, value and texture. They are also taught how to use them in a composition through the principles of design; pattern, balance, emphasis, variety, unity, and rhythm.
