The SADD Club of Magothy Middle promotes makeing educated choices
for responsible behavior and hopes to encourage young people to make healthy
lifestyle choices. The club "spreads the word" and hopes its messages
acts as a deterrent for young people getting involved with drugs, including
alcohol and tobacco. All students are welcome to join this group
that meets every other Thursday. Students are encouraged to work
on committees determined by their interest, including legislative, education,
fundraising, community and school activities. The Red Ribbon Campaign,
maintaining Annie's garden, a booth at the children's fair, SADD promise,
poster contest, and creation of our own public service announcements are
some of the accomplishments of Magothy's SADD Chapter.
