Welcome back to all students and families returning
to Magothy River Middle School. I hope your summer was filled with
wonderful times and wonderful memories. And a very special welcome
to all new 6th graders, and all the children joining us from Belvedere
Elementary. From the moment you walk through our doors, you have
our assurance that we are here to provide you with the best education and
most secure learning environment possible. Everyone who touches your
lives in these next few years have your best interests at heart, and will
work their hardest to fulfill your needs and dreams.
This not only goes for the students attending
Magothy River Middle School, but the students and families from Belvedere
Elementary with whom we will be sharing our facility. And sharing
is the key word here, because it takes a full community effort to provide
the best for all our children on the Broadneck Peninsula. I am very
pleased our school was chosen to help Belvedere Elementary through the
next few years. We have the most positive and supportive faculty
and administration who are counting on us parents and fellow students to
make this transition time the easiest for our Belvedere students.
With all of our cooperation and caring, we can accomplish some pretty wonderful
things, because we have some pretty wonderful children who are worth every
bit of it.
I look forward to all the challenges and rewards
that will be forthcoming during this next school year, and hope you
will join me and the rest of the PTSO Board in supporting Magothy River
Middle School. It is a fantastic school, and I am proud to be a part
of it - I know you will feel the same way too.
