A: I love where I live, but Canada would be my next choice,
especially around Niagara Falls.

A: I live in my brand new home in Baltimore.

A: I live about 25 miles away from Hilltop.
Q: What are your favorite board games?
A: I like to play Monopoly, Scattergories, and Boggle.
Q: What kinds of games do you like to play?
A: All kinds, especially puzzle-type games,
or ones that make you think.

A: My
favorite holiday
is any day

I can spend time
with family
and friends.

A: Friday or Saturday.
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: No, I presently do not have any pets
but I used to have a very cute,
and cuddly hamster.

A: No, I do not have any kids
but, I do have 8 dynamite nephews and nieces
whom I love and adore.

what are your favorite pizza toppings?
A: My favorite pizza toppings are extra cheese
and sausage.
Q: What is your favorite kind of food?
A: My favorite kind of food is seafood,
especially crabs, lobster and shrimp.
Q: What kind of food do you prefer --
Italian, Mexican or American?
A: Depending on the food choices, I like some of each,
because Italian pasta tastes great,
tacos and nachos are good,
and American seafood is the best!
Q: What kind of pie do you like?
A: I like pumpkin pie and apple pie.
Q: What is your favorite ice cream?

A: I now like eating a type of ice cream called, "Tin Roof Sundae."
It has chocolate, peanut clusters, caramel and vanilla ice cream.
Q: Where is your favorite restaurant?
A: I like dining at Friendly Farms in Upperco, Maryland
or at any Outback Steakhouse.
Q: What is your favorite TV show?
A: My new favorite TV show is WEST WING.
I also enjoy watching re-runs of FRIENDS,
and I like watching sports on television, too.
Q: Why are you a teacher?
A: I love working with kids and watching them grow.
Teaching is an adventure,
there is always something new happening!
Q: What is your favorite subject to teach?
A: My favorite subject to teach is Math.
Math is a neat and fun subject to work with
because of all of its patterns and interesting applications.
I love to work with numbers
and there are many great games that you can use
to teach Math.
Q: Do you like Hilltop?
A: I am really glad I came to Hilltop.
I really like it here.
It is a great place to work!

Q: Explain why you came to this school in a paragraph.
A: There are many reasons why I came to Hilltop. First of all, I wanted to get back to working in a public school, because I had recently been working in a private school. Secondly, Hilltop seemed to be similar to the public school that I taught at in my neighborhood, but I like Hilltop even better. Thirdly, Anne Arundel County Schools have a good reputation and I was glad to have an opportunity to work in one of them. Finally, I liked the location of the school and the pleasant atmosphere that was evident from my first visit here.


Q: Would you or wouldn't you describe
yourself as a good teacher?
A: I try my best,
but some days are definitely better than others!
Q: What is your favorite color and why?
A: My favorite color is blue,
because it is so peaceful and soothing.
Q: What is your favorite animal?
A: My favorite animal is a hamster
because they are just like
my cute and cuddly teddybears that I collect.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: I enjoy spending time with
my wonderful 8 nieces and nephews.
I also like to play on my computer.
I enjoy making crafts, working out,
and singing in the church choir.
I also collect all sorts of teddy bears.
Q: What hobbies do you have?
A: I like to do latchhook projects
and all sorts of arts and crafts.
Q: What is your favorite kind of car?
A: I don't really have any favorite type of car.
Q: What color is your car?
A: My car is a silver gray color.

Q: What kind of car do you drive?
A: I drive a Dodge Stratus,
but I do hope to buy a new car soon.
Q: When you are not teaching
would you rather watch TV or play sports?
A: I guess I would choose playing sports,
because I love to be active.
Q: What is your favorite sport?
A: To watch:
football, college basketball, baseball, volleyball, or gymnastics.
To play:
volleyball, basketball, or softball.

Q: Do you like baseball?

A: Yes, The Orioles are my favorite team.
I've always liked the Orioles because I've always lived
in the Baltimore area and I grew up following the Orioles.

Q: Who is your favorite baseball player?
A: # 8 -- Cal Ripken, Jr. THE IRON MAN!
Q: What is your favorite football team and player?
A: My favorite football teams is
the Pittsburgh Steelers.
My favorite football player is Ben Roethelsberger.

Q: What is your favorite soccer team?
Q:My favorite soccer team is the U.S.A. Women's Olympic Soccer Team.
I really like the players: Mia Hamm, Brandie Chastain,
Julie Foudy, Kristine Lilly, Brianna Scurry and Carla Overbeck.

Q: Do you like working on computers?
A: I love computers because there is
so much that you can learn!
Q: What is your favorite college team?

A: The University of Maryland Terrapins,
of course!

A: I would say that I can hold my own,
but I continue to learn.

because we are one big, happy family.

A: I'd rather not say,
but everybody has them!
Q: How old are you?
A: I am 39 years old.
No, really.
(Not like those women who keep saying they are 39 and holding.)

Q: What do you like more -- school or home?
A: I like some things at school and other things at home.
Q: Have you been to the zoo?
A: Yes, our whole class recently visited the Baltimore Zoo.
Q: What is your favorite state?
A: Maryland.
Q: Who is your best friend?
A: Someone that I have known for a very long time.
We have learned to be there for each other
whether in good times or bad.
Q: Where do you like to go?
A: Anywhere I can have a good time,
and find a peaceful place to relax.
Q: What did you wish when you were younger?
A: I always wanted to be either
a teacher or a police officer.
Q: If you had one wish, what would it be?
A: My one wish would be that
everyone could learn to get along regardless
of race, sex, or background.
