The last PTA meeting was held on September 20, 2005.

The PTA would like to welcome all of our new and returning parents to an exciting school year!  Sign up to volunteer at Georgetown East.  It's a great way to get to know the school and your child's teacher.  Among the many ways you can volunteer are the book fair, field trips, and helping out in the classroom.Please fill out a volunteer form and donate some of your time to the school.

The PTA raises funds to sponsor various cultural arts programs, subsidize field trips, teacher appreciation, and other important activities.  The Innisbrook Wrapping paper and gifts fundraiser has begun so look for your child to bring this information home.  Other fundraisers being considered are the Scholastic Book Fair, a McDonald's Night, and a Papa John's night.

Clip off your Box Tops for Education and send them to school.  Each one is worth 10 cents to the school.  Also, don't forget to renew your Giant A+ Bonus Bucks and Safeway E-Scripts.  Both of these programs start up in October and will help our school.
