Welcome to the media Center
Students come to the media center every week for book checkout and instruction in library skills.
Ms. Kemerling is the Librarian and she loves reading to students. She also loves to help students find a good book they want to take home.
Students at Georgetown East participate in the Black-Eyed Susan Book Award program. They read books that have been nominated to win this award and then vote for their favorite book.
This year students will be participating in the Accelerated Reader Program. This program is designed to motivate students to read. Students read books and then complete a short comprehension quiz one the book using the computer. Students will be able to earn rewards just by reading books!!
