            Arlington Echo, What a success!!  Thank you to all who participated in making this camping trip an experience your child will not forget.  Students still talk about what they had learned.

             We are now reading a unit called, "Money".  It develops a more significant understanding of how our economic system works.  Students read about peers beginning their own businesses, how spending money unwisely turns out to be disappointing, and how currency bills are made.

            During mathematics our students will be doing review and learn new concepts such as:  line plots, problem solving techniques, and division with regrouping. 

            We will be taking a trip to Maryland Hall on May 24th to watch the play, "Charlotte's Web"  Third grade is reading the story, and will compare and contrast the stories.  The field trip will cost $1.00 per child.  A permission sheet will be going home next week.
